Success at the BIPP Midland Region Awards

What a great evening for Buttercross Photography.

In competition against all the BIPP members in the region last night I received Awards for these pictures;

BIPP Midland Region Awards

Hi,

Last night was the annual Midland Region Print Competition. Photographers from across the East and West Midlands compete for the converted awards of best photographer in various categories. Then from all the winners the highly respected judges choose the overall Midland Region Photographer of the Year.

Buttercross Photography came away with the top award in Press & PR, and awards in Architecture and Pictorial.

These are my winning Pictures.

2010 BIPP Midland Region Awards

Hi, This week Malcolm entered the BIPP Midland Region Aunnal Print Competition and these pictures won Awards.

BIPP Awards W/E

It was a great priveledge to be invited to photograph the Annual Awards for the BIPP last W/E at the Cold War museum at RAF Cosford.Click on the picture above to see the presentations for the annual print competition.

LABC Central Awards

Once again we were delighted to be invited to photography the LABC Building Excellence awards. This time we were in the LABC's Central Region. They held their awards ceremony at the Juries Inn in Milton Keynes.

As before it was really interesting to see the wide range of categories receiving awards. They ranged from small extensions through to multi-million £pound developments.

Malcolm wins BIPP awards

I was pleased to be awarded merit awards in last month's BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) Midland Region Annual Print Competition. In this competition the best photographers in the Midland Region (Harlech to Skegness - Sheffield to Worcester) compete in various categories of professional photography.

I won awards in;
Landscape Photography


This picture of Balanced Rock in Arches National Park, Utah, USA was taken at sunset on our first day in the park.

Architectural Photography


This is Sibsey Windmill in Lincolnshire. Also taken as the sun was setting.

Sibsey Mill is a rare 5 bladed mill, and is still in use grinding flour for bread-making.












My third award was for;
Pictorial Photography

With this is picture of a Yucca plant in bud.
