It was a great privilege to be invited to photograph Lucy & Neil's wedding this weekend.
As usual we arrived in time to capture the Bride's party getting ready, including dad adjusting his tie.
Lucy and her bridesmaids looked stunning in their dresses.
The flower girls were on their best behaviour and also looked fant astic . The bridal party was complete so we dashed off to St Mary's church in Bottesford to meet Neil and his groomsmen.
Neil and his bestman arrived in a classic Ford Serria Cosworth RS lovingly restored by a friend of the bestman.
Meanwhile Lucy arrived in a modern VW convertible and stole a march on all the guests by arriving with her admiring father at the opposite entrance to the one used by the guests!
The service was conducted by Canon Alan Haydock. Alan has a great sense of humor as well as a seriousness that is due to a wedding in one of the most historic churches in the area.
On their way to the Chequers Inn at Woolsthorpe by Belvoir we took them to a spot overlooking Belvoir Castle for a couple of private pictures.
In the background we can see The Annual Game Fair being set up. This is an important event in the life of the Belvoir Vale.
Then they had a grand entrance in the grounds of The Chequers to be greated by their guests for the reception.
